Lincoln Learning Solutions, a Beaver County based nonprofit edtech developer, has partnered with the Capital Area Online Learning Association (CAOLA) to offer more courses, tailored content options and safe AI guidance to 15,000 students in 140 schools across 11 Pennsylvania Intermediate Units. CAOLA is Pennsylvania’s largest online learning consortium. The agreement gives its member schools access to Lincoln’s K-12 curriculum, its instructor and teacher services, and an AI learning assistant. Rather than a typical customer-vendor arrangement, the two organizations will work together on curriculum enhancements and professional learning. For Lincoln, the deal extends a run of new partnerships that already includes educators in Indiana and Texas.

What CAOLA Schools Gain

Through the partnership, CAOLA will gain access to the standards-aligned K-12 Lincoln Empowered curriculum, which includes core courses, electives, honors, credit recovery and select NCAA-eligible options. Schools will also be able to use Lincoln’s instructor and teacher services.

The package includes the Lincoln AI Learning Assistant, a safe, curriculum-based tool that gives age-appropriate lesson guidance.

Bob Clements, CEO at Lincoln Learning Solutions, said:

“CAOLA has a sterling reputation among its students, families, and communities in the Capital Region, and we are gratified to help them expand access to high-quality online learning opportunities. Empowering learners and educators with tools and support to achieve success is a mission we share.”

Building Together

The two organizations plan to work in concert to develop curriculum enhancements, professional learning, and strategies for evolving educational frameworks.

Bob Clements, CEO at Lincoln Learning Solutions, shared:

“Our content offers CAOLA’s team additional flexibility in building and supporting virtual learning programs while maintaining their laser focus on curriculum quality, student engagement, and responsiveness to their member partners. We’ll also be collaborating with them to build for the future.”

A View From CAOLA

CAOLA’s goal is to keep expanding options for its students. Beyond broader access to curriculum and supplemental content, the partnership promises new instructional and student-support options and more ways for districts to meet diverse student and program needs.

Holly A. Coleman-Brzycki, Supervisor of Online Learning at CAOLA, stated:

“CAOLA was built on the belief that collaboration creates stronger opportunities for students, educators, and school districts.”

“Our partnership with Lincoln Learning Solutions expands the resources, supports, and learning options available to our member schools while allowing us to work alongside a trusted Pennsylvania-based organization that shares our commitment to educational excellence, innovation, and student success.”

Lincoln’s Growing Reach

Founded in 2005 as National Network of Digital Schools, Lincoln Learning Solutions is a 501c3 nonprofit based in Pennsylvania. It develops the Lincoln Empowered curriculum, Lincoln Content Bank and Lincoln AI, and currently reaches 1500 schools in 68 states and provinces and upward of 130,000 students.

The CAOLA agreement adds a home-state partner to that network, following new partnerships with educators in Indiana and Texas.
