CodeSignal has partnered with Harvard Business Impact to offer practice-based AI and essential skills courses to educational institutions worldwide. The companies are responding to an estimate that 39% of workers’ core skills will change by 2030. Through Harvard Business Impact’s platform, educators can assign courses that give students AI-powered feedback from CodeSignal’s tutor, Cosmo. Students who complete the courses receive a certificate from both organizations.

AI Fluency Courses

The catalog now includes Generative AI for Everyone, Prompt Engineering for Everyone, Effective Prompt Engineering with Chat AI, and Artificial Intelligence Ethics. The courses cover using AI tools, writing prompts, and considering how AI is applied.

Essential Skills Practice

The partnership also adds co-developed courses in navigating change and uncertainty, collaborating productively, and thinking and acting with integrity. The courses form part of Harvard Business Impact’s Essential Skills Suites and use workplace scenarios with personalized feedback from Cosmo.

Nicole Harris, Senior Director, Strategic Planning and Growth Initiatives at Harvard Business Impact, said:

“Practice, feedback, and reflection give students a powerful way to develop skills they can apply beyond the classroom.”

Classroom Assignments

Educators can assign the courses as homework, allowing students to practice concepts through AI-powered exercises. Students can also bring a current school situation to Cosmo for personalized guidance.

Stéphanie Durand, VP, Strategic Partnerships at CodeSignal, said:

“Most students don't get to practice these skills until they're already on the job. With Harvard Business Impact, we wanted to give today's students a solid place to start: real, hands-on practice completing tasks with AI and experiencing workplace scenarios that matter right now.”

More Courses Planned

CodeSignal and Harvard Business Impact plan to expand the catalog with further AI, technical, and essential skills courses for learners at different stages. For students, the new catalog adds structured opportunities to practice workplace-focused skills before graduation.
